How does it work?

Élever Academy provides in-home childcare with a focus on both education and nurturing, ensuring that children receive personalized learning experiences in a safe and familiar environment. Our highly trained Educare Specialists incorporate structured lesson plans inspired by Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf philosophies, fostering intellectual curiosity, creativity, and independence. Families are matched with Educare Specialists based on their child’s needs, creating a seamless, high-quality childcare experience that prioritizes growth, safety, and individualized attention.

Family Consulation

The first step in the Élever Academy process is a one-on-one consultation with the family, either in person or via Zoom, to understand their specific childcare needs. During this meeting, we discuss the family’s preferences, daily routines, parenting philosophies, and what they are looking for in an Educare Specialist—whether it’s a focus on academics, emotional development, or structured play. This consultation allows us to gain a deep understanding of the child’s unique personality and learning style, ensuring a perfect match with a nanny who aligns with the family’s values and expectations.

Nanny Selection, Screening, & Training

After understanding the family’s needs, we begin the process of finding the perfect Educare Specialist. We carefully interview potential candidates, conduct thorough background checks, and verify references to ensure they meet our high standards of professionalism, experience, and reliability. Once selected, the nanny undergoes an orientation and training process, where they learn Élever Academy’s curriculum, teaching philosophies, and best practices for providing a structured yet nurturing environment. This step ensures that every Educare Specialist is fully prepared to deliver top-tier childcare and education tailored to each family’s expectations.

3

Family + Educare Specialist Meet & Greet

Once the Educare Specialist has successfully completed our screening and training process, and the family approves the selection, we arrange a personalized meet-and-greet. This meeting allows the family and nanny to get acquainted, discuss expectations, and ensure a seamless transition into the home environment. As the facilitator, I will be present to guide the conversation, address any questions, and ensure both parties feel confident and comfortable before care officially begins.

4

Trial Week & Official Placement

To ensure the best fit for both the family and the Educare Specialist, the nanny will begin a one-week trial period. During this time, the family can observe how the nanny interacts with their child, follows routines, and integrates into their home environment. If both parties are satisfied after the trial, the Educare Specialist will be officially placed with the family and begin receiving their hourly rate, solidifying a long-term, high-quality childcare arrangement.
